Andrew Francisco is the co-founder and inventor of Aqua Crisps. Originally from Indiana, Andrew also lived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the majority of his adolescent years. During that time Andrew fell in love cooking and food, initiating his career as a chef. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America Andrew moved to Austin, Texas. He has been cooking ever since while raising three children with his lovely wife and finding time to invent snack foods on the side. Inspired by the prawn crackers Andrew grew up eating in Malaysia and pork rinds, Andrew came up (through countless experiments) with a vegan crisp using smoked water and tapioca pearls. Aqua Crisps debuted on special menus and made it on the menu as a bar snack and appetizer with various dips. Customers loved them! The rest is history.
Originally hailing from New York City, Mr. Visci has been involved in the food and beverage industry for over 25 years. Having the opportunity to work in hotels, restaurants, and music venues, Justin has been able to develop his love for food, wine and spirits from incredibly diverse circles. New York City, Philadelphia, St. Maarten and now Austin each have influenced Justin's passion in this constantly evolving industry and afforded him the time to utilize his talents in creating food/beverage programs and cementing relationships within. Justin and Andrew Francisco teamed up in Austin, both with the vision of creating, manufacturing, and distributing the Aqua Crisps for a greater good. Be Happy! Eat Happy!
